GOLDEN GALA – Thursday, April 15, 2010 – 7:30 p.m.

The Turlock Concert Association is pleased to present the student and faculty of California State University, Stanislaus, in a celebration CSUS’s golden anniversary.  Discover the treasure here in our own backyard, as choral, wind and jazz ensembles perform a wonderful program of traditional and contemporary music.  A generous donation has enabled the Association to commission two original compositions by CSUS faculty, which will receive their world premiere performances at this concert.

The Hunt Family Fiddlers are an award-winning, 9-member American family of step dancers, fiddlers and singers who have performed for three seasons at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and for Queen Elizabeth during her 2007 visit to the United States.  This “charming, captivating, thoroughly entertaining and energetic family of musicians” presents Celtic, bluegrass, inspirational and popular tunes to the delight of audiences everywhere.
