Purpose & History

The Turlock Concert Association is a community-based, not-for-profit that sponsors world-class entertainment in a superior concert setting at an affordable cost to its subscribers. Each season the association presents five concerts. Additionally, the association underwrites several free concerts and assemblies for young students in the area. On these occasions, the visiting professional musicians present highlights of their evening performance and encourage the students to develop their musical and artistic abilities.

In addition to the five local concerts provided, season ticket holders can gain free admission to ten (10) additional concerts sponsored by the neighboring concert associations in Modesto and Lodi. Season ticket holders may also purchase single concert tickets for local friends or obtain free passes for out-of-town visitors.

The organization is funded by annual season-ticket subscription sales, supplemented by generous donations from local sponsors. There is no paid staff, and the board of directors is entirely volunteer. Board members contribute their unique abilities and talents to the operation of the association simply out of a commitment to the performing arts.

The Turlock Concert Association, Inc., formerly known as the Turlock Community Concert Association, has a rich legacy of honoring the performing arts. For nearly 70 years, renowned artists have graced the local stage because of the association's generous sponsorship and its board's uncompromising vision. Your participation can make the next 70 years every bit as thrilling as the past 70 years.
